About Daria

From the outside,
my life looked full.

A career in finance, three children, everything that was supposed to be enough. Inside, something was missing. I just never stopped long enough to see it. Until Kundalini yoga found its way in. And everything started to shift.

My Story

How I got here

I spent years convinced my life was full. Good career, good family, everything in order. I even did yoga but my mind was always somewhere else. I thought I simply couldn't meditate.

Then, during a coaching session, I was asked to draw my life as a house. Each room represented a different area of life. I drew two rooms. Work and family. Nothing else. No creativity. No spirituality. No friendships. No space for anything else. And the thing is, I thought it was perfectly balanced. Until the next part of the exercise asked me to draw my ideal house. That's when I saw it.

I felt sad. And surprised. Because deep down I had known something was missing. I just hadn't stopped long enough to look at it.

Around that same time, I stumbled onto Kundalini yoga. The first class, I thought it was strange. And then suddenly I was completely in it. The mantras, the breathwork, the meditation through movement. It was the first time my mind actually stopped. Mind and body present at the same time. It was like finding the key and opening a door that had always been closed for me.

I quit my job to create my own company. Completed my full Kundalini Yoga teacher training with Imagine Academy (Yoga Alliance certified), and trained with Maya Fiennes in London to teach Kunda Dance, a joyful way to move energy through dance, rooted in Kundalini yoga. Trained as an executive coach at IMD. Wrote a book. Opened a wellbeing space. Returned to painting, to walking in the forest, to stopping long enough to smell a flower or watch the lake. One step at a time, over 15 years.

What I know now is this: the most important thing is to connect to who you really are. Not who you think you're supposed to be.
